Re-igniting the superverse passion

So after 2 years since my last post i thought i'd get back into the blogging, afterall this is where i want my comic to go as well as a few other places on the web.

Just to let you know i have been working on the superverse over the past 2 years, granted not as much as i would have liked, but i have been coming up with some really cool new storylines and plot points i think will be liked by many as well as developing those i already have come up with to make them alot more interesting and fun to read/watch. i am starting to get my arse in gear and actually get the whole thing started, as in... to get my first comic page out :D . my hope is that it will be on the net in the next 2 months or so....its just started march now my first episode should be up by the start of june. so stay tuned.

if there are any script writers, artists, (background, character or effects artists) or animators out there and your interested in doing some collaboration work feel free to leave a comment or drop me your email and i'll get back to you asap.

The Trio Line-up

So this is a group called The Trio, Not really goodies in the same way as the ES team are, but not really classed as enemies of the team. They arent always law abiding though, often using their powers to get the upper hand and cause trouble for enemies and security force alike.
From left to right: Leon, Zan, Garrick.
here's a little bit of info on each of them.

Leon (Leader)
Power: Technopathic – The ability to communicate with electronic objects.
Leon has the ability to talk with machines, able to tell them what to do, and listen to them when things are wrong. He can affect them in any way he chooses, but cannot make them do something they would not normally be able to do. He can make phones call people, without touching them, he can surf the Internet without access to a keyboard, he can change traffic lights. But he cannot manipulate them to form more complex machines nor can he move electronic objects with his mind. He is simply able to tell them what to do without physically accessing them.

Character: A very confident character, he knows when to act and when to stay away. He sees Zan and Garrick as his brother and sister. And treats them with great respect. Little is known of Leon’s background. It is believed he used to be a criminal, using his ability to steal money from big company accounts, although this has never been confirmed. Leon travels by motorcycle, not only on roads but on paths and in parks as well. Never hurting anyone but not always following the law themselves, The Trio are seen as a menace by civilians and a nuisance by the ES.

Group: The Heart of the Trio, Leon is always looking out for his team. Using his ability he can check the Internet for any bulletins about the team or any suspected activity they have carried out. Each team member has an electronic bracelet that Leon designed. Enabling him to contact them whenever and wherever they are. Leon keeps the team safe, constantly putting out false locations so the security never find their real hideout. Security sometimes tries chasing the team but never manage to catch them.

Zan (Defence)
Power: Force Field – A Protective barrier that can take on different forms to protect the user from any harm.
Zan can create a force field any shape and size she wants (within reason) she mostly uses them as a track for her skating, As bridges over gaps and as slides for descending from heights. Zan can move the force fields once created and change their size and shape although any complex shapes do take a lot of her concentration. Whilst stopping any form of attacks her Force fields still allow air to pass through enabling her to survive within one for a long period of time. Once created the fields cannot be moved by any force other than Zan herself. They can withstand incredible weight put on them, and are impervious to heat and radiation. The limit of Zan’s power isn’t yet known, it is believed a force field can last for days if it is not too big or complex a shape.

Character: A very carefree woman, Zan is always making jokes, and messing around. She is sometimes quite cocky which can get her in trouble. She quite often sees things as a game, especially when the security force is chasing them. Despite her child-like mentality Zan knows when to play and when to listen. Treating Leon with the utmost respect, and having strong feelings for Garrick. Zan is more than capable of looking after herself, she is very strong minded and doesn’t like people to think she is unintelligent. A very skilful skater Zan has many trophies from various tournaments, when she developed her ability she was banned from entering any event in fear it would give her and unfair advantage.

Group: The physical protection of the team quite often relies on Zan, creating force fields when under fire or when a getaway is needed. She is the youngest of the group and thus is sometimes being protected by the others. Despite being childlike, sometimes Zan is forced to act more her age. Knowing that adult life can be very stressful and complicated, she always prefers to mess around and have as much fun as she can, with the philosophy, ‘you can never have too much fun’.

Garrick (Scout)
Power: Enhanced Leap – The ability to jump far higher than any normal person.
Garrick can jump up to incredible heights, enabling him to cover large distances in mere minuets. Not only can Garrick jump to heights, but he can land from them too. His ability enables him to leap from buildings and land on the ground without harming himself. Garrick is a fanatic free runner, as well as base jumper. He uses his ability to climb to the top of tall structures and leaps off them flying through the air using his specially designed costume. Garrick has a miniature booster strapped on his back that allows him to slow rapidly when landing.

Character: Garrick is very much the strong silent type. He is always looking out for his team, caring for them greatly. His Relationship with Zan has developed over the years they have been working, and currently are classed as very close friends. Garrick sees Leon as a younger sibling, following his orders but also looking out making sure he is not overstepping his limits, and not getting into too much trouble.

Group: Garrick is the eyes of the team, able to reach high points rapidly and alert the team to any trouble He is very quiet, speaking only to his teammates on the rarest of occasions, because of this little is known about his past. It is thought he is an ex-ES member, who quit after his entire squad was caught in an enemy attack. Garrick is very fit, constantly working out when not on a mission. He is always going out by himself. His destination isn’t known but it is believed to be the resting place of his fallen teammates.

This is the main team for the Superverse story, some are new recruits, some come from previous teams. all in all they will be the driving force behind the story, they all have in depth stories which will be revealed as the stories unfold.

This story is set in the not too distant future, technology has advanced, as have the Human Race. They have become the newest species of human, The Metahuman. Each capable of amazing displays of superhuman powers and abilities, that modern man can only dream of.

Some people use their powers for Evil, but others, use theirs for good.

The story follows a newly established team of Emergency Service Recruits, who's sole purpose is to save the good, from the evil and corrupt, To use there powers to stop criminals in there tracks, to be...Super!
